Artificial Intelligence is becoming increasingly present in everyday life, both at work and at home, with its benefits—such as reducing time spent on repetitive and redundant tasks—being more appreciated than ever. According to a survey conducted among 1,175 respondents nationwide by Genesis Property, one of Romania’s leading office building owners, 77% of employees use AI-powered tools daily or occasionally at work. Furthermore, 88% of respondents believe their office should have more automation tools to simplify their tasks, and 70% are eager to develop new skills in AI and automation systems.
For most employees (41.4%), AI should act as a virtual mentor, capable of answering all questions, while 37.2% see it as a silent genius, able to handle complex tasks without requiring additional input. At the same time, nearly 50% believe that AI will be increasingly used in 2025 to streamline various activities, but it will not replace human roles.
„It is already evident that artificial intelligence is being increasingly adopted in everyday life, especially in the professional sphere. Repetitive tasks can now be completed much faster, giving employees more time for interaction and creative activities with higher added value.

The office is no longer just a place we go to daily for routine work but a hub of collaboration, creativity, and innovation, where technology serves as a partner rather than a competitor. The jobs of the future won’t be about doing more but about working smarter, more efficiently, and with greater creativity. Organizations that understand this transformation will not only adapt more quickly but will also foster an environment where people and AI evolve together”, said Ionel Purice, CEO, Genesis Property.
Most respondents (68%) believe that new AI-powered tools can help build communities around workspaces. Regarding the measures companies should take to support this process, 52.2% think employees need more flexibility, 45.3% want better workplace amenities, and 38.5% believe that improved access to cultural and social events would help strengthen the community.
Genesis Property aims to complete the final stage of YUNITY Park, a future-ready campus created by entrepreneur Liviu Tudor, designed to redefine the office experience through a blend of facilities, experiences, and communities. Conceived to transform the way employees work and live, the campus features a 1,500-seat open-air amphitheater, 2 kilometers of pedestrian pathways, cascading water mirrors, an urban forest, and creative spaces for meetings. The first two phases, completed in 2023, received an investment of over €30 million. The third phase, Innovation Center, set to be inaugurated this year, will be completed following an additional €20 million investment.
The survey, conducted by Genesis Property, analyzed employees’ expectations and requirements for 2025. It was carried out nationwide between January and February 2025 via the iVox platform, with a total sample of 1,175 internet users from Romania. Approximately 48% of participants are female, and nearly 57% have a net income exceeding 5,000 lei.
